I can’t begin to tell you how envious I am of most of you returning back to school, for I miss it very much! Each of the four semesters I was in graduate school, my school of social work required us to submit a process recording. For the unfamiliar, a process recording is a document…Details

Social Work Tech: Empowering Social Work
I have been working as a case manager for the last few weeks and I have come across some great tech sites that Social Work Tech practioners can benefit from – I believe that these may help you and your clients as you help them to move forward!Details
If you happen to follow me on my professional Twitter account (aside from this website’s Twitter account), you will know that I was recognized for having one of the top community projects in my MSW Program for the year. I wanted to share what resulted from the start of this project.Details
During my last semester in graduate school, I developed an intervention I am proud to share with you all. It’s a self-care plan that I implement with my clients, as well as in my personal life. My colleagues loved it and many of my clients have embraced it. This intervention is tangible, as it can be taken home by the client to put on their wall or refrigerator – a practice I encourage as a form of buy-in to their treatment.Details

I purchased this bag soon after and lived happily ever after!Details
The Need For Practicality

What if I told you that you could easily access some interventions quickly, easily, and without distraction? Without having to get up from your chair in the middle of a session to look through your drawer for said intervention? Without kicking yourself later that you couldn’t find the intervention?Details
Today is my first attempt at blogging more — specifically, in the middle of the week: Random Thursdays! I wanted to share with you a great (yet trivial) discovery of mine: I figured out how to type on my iPad’s touchscreen! One handed, apparently, is the way to go. I still wont be using my…Details
